♥ Vintage Memories ♥

Hi there! One of my New Year's resolutions this year was to join in on more challenge blogs. Which translates to...take more time out for mommy! I'm always putting everyone else first and always running around for my kids, which I love, but decided I need to take more time to relax and enjoy life. And one way I love to relax is to make things! Especially cards. So here is my card for this week's sketch over at the Sketch Saturday Challenge Blog! Such a fun one too! :)

I used some old papers and embellies from Farm House Paper Company. I've been hoarding them forever and decided to finally let go! I also used a paper rose, some May Arts Natural Twine and some White Opal Liquid Pearls.

Here is the fab sketch!

And, did I mention, it's being sponsored by Simon Says Stamp this week! :)

Hope you have an amazing day! We are snowed in again! Kids are off from school and having a blast! :)

Hi everyone! Hope you all are having a wonderful Sunday! Just stopping in quickly with a card I made for this past week's challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog. The challenge is H is for... (What a fun challenge! Don't ya think?) ;)
I used some hearts, of course, on my card. I used the Large Heart Doily Die and the little stitched hearts are from the Bundle of Stitched Shapes Die Set, all exclusively by Simon Says Stamp.

Here is another "Hearts" card. This one is Hearts and Snowflakes! It uses the Bundle of Stitched Shapes again as well as the Alexis and Abby Snowflake Dies by Simon Says Stamp. I also used the SSS Falling Snow Stencil with some Gesso.

The papers on this one is also Fourteen by Crate Paper.

I also used some Lawn Fawn Sweetheart Twine,  Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush Marker and some White Pearls.

♥ A Krafty Valentine ♥

Happy Friday everyone! Just stopping in with a card for this week's Make it Monday Challenge over at The Kraft Journal. It is to make a Valentine using kraft. Usually when I make a card I like to use one main manufacturer but this card is kind of a Frankenstein card! A little bit of this and a little bit of that! :)

I used papers by Teresa Collins (Floral) and Doodlebug (blue and white polka dots). The chipboard hearts are from Crate Paper's Fourteen line. The Kraft cardstock can be purchased at The Kraft Outlet. I also used the A2 Bracket Borders One Dies by Spellbinders as well as some paper flowers, White Opal Liquid Pearls, lace and burlap trim.

I hope you have a fabulous weekend!!
