♥ Enjoy Life's Simple Moments ♥

I hope everyone here in the US and abroad is having a wonderful Memorial Day so far! This weekend was gorgeous here, hot but gorgeous! Our 5 year old was swimming like a fish. I can sit and watch him all day just playing with no worries in life...no stress...just having fun! Ah..to be a kid again! But even so, life is good!

This week's challenge over at The Shabby Tea Room is called, "2, 4, 6". It is to use 2 patterned papers, 4 buttons and 6 layers! And the DT got to play with JustRite stamps, which is also this week's prize sponsor!

I used 2 patterned papers, but 1 was double-sided, so I used both sides. Hey, it's still only 2 patterned papers right?! :) I used JustRite's Signs of Life Cling set. Love this set! It is so fun!

Don't forget to check out the rest of the shabby girls too!

♥ Card Patterns Guest Designer ♥

I am co-guest designing this week at the Card Patterns blog. They always have the most fun card sketches! This week's sketch is no exception!

I used a lightweight wooden tree that I picked up in Michael's awhile back. I "painted" it with some green and brown inks and then added some Girls Paperie paper and a Maya Road chipboard piece over the top of it. I used Papertrey Ink's Love Lives Here stamp set for the little house and sentiment. I also used punched Martha Stewart butterflies, seam binding ribbon, Melissa Frances paper and some Liquid Pearls.

Here is the awesome sketch!

I hope you can play along this week over at Card Patterns! Have a great rest of your Memorial Day weekend! It's a beauty here!

♥ Baby's 1st Birthday Cupcake {holder} ♥

♥♥♥ I am so sorry for this late post! I have had no phone or Internet service for almost a week! We had our sidewalks installed (finally!) last Thursday and they cut the phone line by mistake! Verizon just made it out here and fixed it, literally 15 minutes ago!! So I apologize to everyone! ♥♥♥

I am your Hostess this week at The Shabby Tea Room and I chose the theme of "Sweet Baby" for this week's challenge. It is to create a card and/or project with a baby theme. I decided to make a cupcake stand that would hold baby's 1st Cupcake!
I first made the cupcake stand out of some printable papers and a cupcake stand template (you can purchase it HERE). I then added the adorable rocking horses to it, to give it a Carousel look. The rocking horses are a digi stamp from this week's sponsor, Lauretta's Digital Stamps. This sweet image is only $1.50!
I also used some wooden dowels that I wrapped in ribbons, some punched alphabet blocks, a piece of cardboard that I placed between the stand and top for extra support, a paper doily, glitter and more ribbon. This literally took me about an hour to make. It is a super easy and FUN project to make for a Birthday Cupcake!

The winner of this week's challenge will win 4 Digi images of your choice from either Lauretta's Digital Stamps or Coco Dingo!

Don't forget to visit the rest of the Shabby Girls too!

'Monochromatic', that is this week's challenge over at The Shabby Tea Room. It is to create a card or project that uses only 1 main color and a neutral.

For my card, I used a beautiful image of a vintage carriage from The Graphics Fairy. I also used some Bazzill pink cs, pink seam binding ribbon, liquid pearls, mini roses, a paper doily and the balloons, small gift and sentiment are from the "Little Girl" stamp set by Crafty Secrets.
Here is the inside. That is a Melissa Frances rub-on. So this can be used for the birth of a little girl or a little girl's birthday.

♥ Simon Says... Look what the Stork brought! ♥

That is this week's challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog! Create a card/project with a baby theme.

Our lovely boss, Heidi, is due any moment with her precious little girl! So I made this with her in mind. I used this beautiful stamp set called Baby Bib Set by Darcie's. I paper pieced the bib and added some Hero Arts pearls to it and added some glitter and Copics to the 'Baby, Oh Baby' stamp. What a sweet set! I also used some Liquid Pearls in White Opal as well and some seam binding ribbon, hemp cord and a button. The little punched hearts are scraps from a Martha Stewart edge punch called Trefoil Heart Edge Punch which I had saved for a later date.

Don't forget, the random winner of this week's challenge will win a $50 Credit Voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Store!

Have a wonderful week! I'll be back with a giveaway you won't want to miss!
